Delta Reign update...
Hi ya'll,
Benita here with Delta Reign. I wanted to send out a quick update since I'm pretty late getting our May news out to you.
We had a jam packed awesome April! Chocked full of Bluegrass, crawfish, chickens, coffee, ...too much to mention everything, but I'd like to send a real special shout out to all the great folks at Berkeley Bob's in Cullman, AL. We played to a full house that night and met some wonderful new friends. Thank you Bob and Jimmy for lettin' us come and have a great time! We'd love to come back sometime.
This past weekend was a good one for our first time at the "Twin Oaks Park, 39th Annual Bluegrass Music Convention" in Hoboken, GA. Thanks to Whit Crews and all the fine folks we met there....they really know how to put on a good festival!
This coming weekend, May 11th and 12th, we will be heading to Pickers Paradise Park for the "Great Southern Music Festival" in Ochlocknee, GA. (just north of Tallahasse, FL) They will be having a special guest added to the lineup...Michael Cleveland, award winning fiddle player will be sitting in with the Wildwood Valley Boys, so if any of you folks are in the region, heads up...it's going to be a good festival! Come join us.

Great Southern Music Festival is happy to announce that we are going to have a Special Guest that will be playing with The Wildwood Valley Boys. Michael Cleveland is a well known bluegrass musician that has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry and A Prairie Home Companion. He has won several awards including in 2002 International Bluegrass Music Association Instrumental Album of the Year, in 2004 he shared a award with Tom Adams, and in 2008 Fiddle Player of the Year. These are just a few of Michael Cleveland awards and achievements.
Make plans today to visit South Georgia’s finest Bluegrass festivals. Whether you like the traditional Bluegrass style of music, or the more progressive Newgrass styles, we have a little bit of it all at this South Georgia Bluegrass festival. Bluegrass music is our specialty. We’re located in Thomasville, GA, which is just a short drive from Tallahassee, near north Florida, or if you’re coming from within Georgia or Alabama, just look at our map page for directions. Darwell's was featured on "the Best of the Best, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives"
This is a great little venue with a funky vibe and excellent gourmet food. We've had a blast each time we've played there! Mississippi friends, grab some friends and come on out! We play 7 til 9:30

We will be spending the last half of May working hard on our tunes. Then, on June 4th, we will be going into the studio for a week or two and finally record a new album.
