from the Mobile River delta region of the gulf coast. As 5 rivers flow together into Mobile Bay to form the delta, so Delta Reign brings together the musical influences of each member...bluegrass, western swing, blues & jazz... we call it "delta bluegrass".

Winter Update

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to send out a quick update to let you know what's up with Delta Reign. We've had a little down time and are working hard on new songs for our next album. We are also getting ready to head north in a couple of weeks for a little tour to Tawas City, Michigan up on Lake Huron. That's as far north as this southern gal has ever been. I'm buying some warmer clothes!

Next weekend, we are helping out an old friend, banjo player, Kevin Decker, who is in a medical and financial crisis. Friends of Kevin will be hosting a Benefit Bluegrass festival on Saturday, February 18th in Foley, AL. I hope you will consider being a part....more info on that below.

After complications from two major surgeries on Nov.. 2, 2011, long time Foley resident and banjo player, Kevin Decker has been in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator. After 5 1/2 weeks in intensive care, he awoke on Jan 25th facing a long road to recovery. The family has been left financially devastated. This benefit has been organized by those who know and love The Decker’s.
